ThinkProgress lists some conservative criticism of Wall-E.
Notable:
Dirty Harry: Have we lost Pixar? Have we lost the wonderful studio who brought us The Incredibles and Ratatouille to Bush Derangement Syndrome? Here you have a winning streak going back ten-years, enormous amounts of public goodwill, equal amounts of credibility as serious storytellers, and they stop things cold, yanking you out of the story with the liberal nonsense. Quite a disappointment.
Lost Pixar? Maybe you've heard of the guy who runs Pixar (hint: "he invented the freakin' iPhone... have you heard of it"). It's the same guy who said of Bill Gates: "I wish him the best, I really do. I just think he and Microsoft are a bit narrow. He'd be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once or gone off to an ashram when he was younger." Sounds like someone whose political ideals should shock conservatives.
Conservatives never had Pixar, Steve Jobs always did, and he still does (not to mention Apple and 51% of Disney as well).
And anyways, it's fiction. I mean, when someone writes a novel with lesbian sex scenes it's just fiction. But robots in a movie... on a polluted planet? Nope can't accept that. It's stuff like that that'll turn your kids into a gay!
That and that rock and roll music.
