Now, Normally, I’m Against Censorship

But when Salman Rushdie makes the case, I gotta take his side. The dispute is over a book written by one of the officers who guarded Rushdie after the controversial publishing of "Satanic Verses" in 1989. Rushdie takes issue with the book's portrayal of the officers assigned to protect him.

"I am not in the business of suppressing books. I just want the stuff taken out of which he knows to be untrue."

And this sounds reasonable - particularly since the book makes no claim towards fiction. The real problem for Rushdie is that it seems like the entire argument - from both parties, his and the author - is based upon memory and here-say... so, it's kinda hard to prove anything in court.
