Nobody Sheriff Gets Name in Paper

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says he will charge Michael Phelps with a crime if he determines the Olympics hero smoked marijuana in Richland County.

What a jerk.

The FlamingBuffalo prediction: the sheriff gets laughed at, forgotten and (hopefully) replaced. I think the first part is already a safe bet.

And a bit of explanation:

Drugs are bad. Doing drugs is stupid, but what's worse? How about wasting the taxpayers money to prosecute someone just so you can get your name in the paper.
