Mitch Albom on College Football Recruiting

It's rare that an article can sum itself up in its own first sentence, but Albom does it:

It is wrong and harmful and we should all be ashamed of ourselves and I guess I'm going to keep writing it until I'm the last person in this business saying it. This glorifying of high school recruits has got to stop.

Maybe it's because Michigan was so bad last year and my "balance" is off, but I have to agree.
