Iran - the Twitter revolution?

I love Twitter.

Let's get that out of the way.

And i think what's happening in Iran is a great display of people standing for what's right. But as I read news reports I fear that Twitter and YouTube are getting too much credit.

Yes, it's good that the world is getting a glimpse of what's going on there - but the method isn't the story. We don't wonder at newsprint. We aren't awed at the cable news. In fact when CNN tried to awe us we laughed at them (another touch screen, really?)

So let's admire what these men women and children are doing and give them the credit... Not Twitter.
