Hey, ESPN has heard of the MAC

Article on Dan LeFevour and the huge billboard CMU bought in Detroit. Of course:

Central Michigan is 0-7 against BCS teams with LeFevour as the starter... Central Michigan plays three BCS teams this year beginning at Georgia on Sept. 6, so he'll get his chance to earn some BCS street cred.

All I can say is they better be really good this year. I hate when bad schools with mediocre players try to hype the media up to get some Heisman consideration. The last mid-major player I can think of who really deserved to be in New York for the presentation was Randy Moss (that was the year Michigan's Charles Woodson beat out Peyton Manning).
