now i know that i said numerous times last year during the early fall that the tigers should get rid of Inge and replace him with a 3rd baseman with a little better bat, but this is very good (though not financially), Inge was a very promising catching prospect when he came up, before he was moved to third base and likely will be at worst an excellent backup to pudge. And having him on the bench as a pinch hitter and late inning defensive replacement will be a nice luxury.
