Albom Strikes Again

After several columns I disagreed with, didn't like or found otherwise unappealing, Mitch Albom covers the "shout down in congress" incident. And one line from his article really struck home for me (though it was not the central topic of the piece.)

The fact that he is half-black is not wasted on them, either. Let's be blunt. Nobody can use the N-word in public anymore. But they can use socialist, anarchist, alien.
